Linking DBF to Access

Hello,
I have a DBF file created by some software I would like
to link to Access 2000.
The problem is that one for the file fields length is
1456, so if I link it, I don't see the data properly.
Any idea ?

In my experience I've had similar problems. If this is a
static file, you might want to try creating a table that
will match the fields in the file and import it (i.e. memo
for the lenghty field). Access seems to treat data much
better when it has converted it. Further, you can save
this import and do on a routine basis if the DBF file is
changing.

Hi,
Well, I thought about it but unfortunately, my file is
not static, so I'll need to repeat the import all the
time.
