Linking format

Is it possible to link fill format as well as values between two cells in different sheets.

Not without vba, though you can use a picture link to paste a *picture* of the
cell reference in your other sheet. This would have all the formatting, but
would not be a real piece of data that you could actually link anything else to.
To do this though, you would simply copy the range in question, then hold SHIFT
down and use Edit / Paste Picture Link (This option only appears when you hold
down shift).

Very cool Ken. Is there a list of such hidden goodies somewhere, if there
are others?

Very possibly, but not that I know of I'm afraid. Most of this stuff comes from
these newsgroups, and given that we haunt them a fair bit, you just tend to fall
over this stuff in various postings. I also have a number of books on Excel and
a lot of these tips are mentioned in some of those.
