Linking Forms

Hello:
My operating system and Access software is XP. I have a
large table that gathers information from 3 forms. I
have put a controll button on each form that will take me
from one form to the other and back again. I want to
type an identifing number on the 1st form and have it
carry that number to the other 2 forms and then allow me
to type in a new number when I start with the 1st form
again. How do I link the forms this way?

You need to filter the two forms based on the identifying number. The two
forms will be based on a query with a criteria on the form control for the
identifying number.
