Linking front and back ends

Hi experts,

My front end Access program uses the macro command Link tables to display an
explorer window in which users can navigate to the back end Access database
they wish to use. In Access 2007 this no longer works, giving a command
unavailable message. Has the menu function (which is what the link tables
command is) changed? Or do I have to resort to vba? Am I missing something?
