Hi, I am new to Project Server and SharePoint Services. I have a couple
questions on how to set it up...
(1) I am using project server with SharePoint project workspaces. I would
like to link an issue to a task in a different project. Is there any way to
do this?
The reason I am asking is that I want to have a project workspace where I
can enter a list of generic issues (items to do sometime in the future).
Periodically I will select a group of issues that I want to work on by
creating a set of tasks in a separate project. I would then link the
original issues to the newly created tasks. Is this possible, or is there a
better way to do this?
(2) Is it possible to link a discussion to an issue? I looked at
customizing the issues list (the workspace I am using was created using the
MS Project SharePoint template), but could not figure out how to do this
after looking through the help and through the newsgroups.
