Linking Outlook contacts to Access (cross-posting)

I am cross-postin this from the ms.public.outlook.contacts newsgroup:

After an upgrade from Office 2000 to 2003 I lost a very handy function I had
generated years ago: A link between a Contacts folder and an Access database
which allowed me to use the contact names from the Outlook folder in a
drop-down list in the database.

Trying this trick in 2003 does not seem to work! I can link some fields,
like FirstName and LastName, but not the field File As (which contains the
fulll name of the contact.
Any help is appreciated
