Linking planning dates between excel and visio

Hello,

I am using Visio Pro 2007, and I want to create planning bars to visualize
the successive milestones of a project, as well as key dates of the project.
This data is only available in excel spreadsheets.
The different intervals on the bar should reflect the successive milestones;
since these dates are flexible and change often, i want the planning bar to
update accordingly, moving markers along the timeline as dates are changed in
excel.

How is this possible? I can't manage to have the planning shapes change as
the planning dates are changed in Excel...
