Linking Plans

I have a plan built via MS Project (MS Project Server 2003) that links 8
plans together: this plans doesn't have any actual tasks, only linked plans.
This plan has never been published, only saved (and the published options
for saving have been disabled). In PWA, I see a task from one of the source
plans, and one for the plan that contains the 8 plans - duplicate tasks. I'm
confused - any ideas?

It would indicate that at some point the master was published. Are you
certain that this is not possible?

Gary, thank you for the response. This is what I am saying. At one time,
maybe 2 months ago the master was published - at that time, it had a
sub-project linked in so I can understand seeing the same task from the
master and sub-project in PWA - I'm not sure that should work that way.
However, a task has been added to the sub-plan in the last two weeks that is
showing in PWA under the master and sub-projects: we haven't published the
master in at least 2 months.

Is there a way to see the last published date?
