Linking Project Tables to MS Access

Hello all,

Just looking for an answer to a quick question. Is there any way to link
tables from MS Project into MS Access? I have a client who wants to perform
some additional management analysis on the data, and we'd like to use MS
Access to do that with a live link to the data tables in Project. Is that
possible? How?

Thanks in advance,

You can't link, but you can save all projects to one Access database. The
Project database .mpd format is the same format as an Access .mdb file.

Save using File, Save as and file type .mpd or Access.
Search for prjdb.htm in one of Project's program folders for a full
description of the table structure.

Hi,
I was wondering if there was a way to link timesheet information fro
Access dbase to Project's work column.
Thanks

No. Linking from a database record to a field in Project doesn't work. You
can however create a VBA macro to read any record and update any field in
Project.
