Linking PS2003 schedule to a different workspace

I need to be able to de-link two project schedules (in PS2003) from their
current workspaces and then re-link them to the other workspace. Can anyone
please advise how to do this?

Thanks
Peter

Hello Peter. Yes you can definately associate existing projects in PS2003
with other existing workspaces. The trick is to first make sure the existing
workspace you want to link to has been dis-associated with any other project.

Under Admin>Manage Windows SharePoint Services>Manage SharePoint sites.
Click the project name you are wanting to change and click 'edit site
address'. Select the option to 'remove SharePoint site URL and click OK to
save your changes. This now removes the existing workspace association. To
link to another workspace, click the 'edit site address' button again. This
time enter the relative URL for the new project workspace you would like the
project to link to. Note this site must exist. Once you click OK to save your
changes, make sure you click on the project name again and select the
'synchronise' button to tie the project and workspace together. Please note
this step will cause you to loose any custom security permissions made on the
site to make it in synch with the PWA security settings.

Thanks Piet.
I assume that this is done on the server that hosts Project Server. Is that
correct?

No, this is simlpy a PWA configuration so can be made by any workstation that
has access to PWA. This change would require the user to have administrator
privilleges however.
