Linking shapes so that changes are automatically propagated

Hi,

I would like to know if Visio has the functionality that allows the user to
make changes to all copies of a shape simultaneously?

Eg change the master and all copies automatically updated.

I am guessing that you know that editing the master on a local stencil will
change all instances of that master in the document?

So, I am assuming that you are asking about masters on global stencils to
documents where the masters have already been used.

The answer is no to the second point, but i believe that www.visimation.com
have a utility to help.
