Linking slides

When I create a link to a file I get an error message stating that it is not
posible to link to the file. Why?

could you please provide more information ... are you linking between
powerpoint and project or ??? which version, etc

I am trying to link a a source file to a PP slide. PP 2003. I have a computer
with Win 2000 and PP will do the action perfectly. I want to link fsource
files to the slides, so as to update the slides by changing the source files,
instead of changing each slide.

This is a Microsoft Project newsgroup. Since you are working with
PowerPoint, I suggest you post to a newsgroup that specializes in that
application.
