Linking split tasks

I have a small parking lot project which will be completed in phases. We are
adding parking in several locations, which requires us to do the same three
tasks several times. I want to have three task names, split into 4 sections
each. I would like the first split section of the first task to link to the
first split section of the second task, the first split section of the second
task to link to the first split section of the third task. Then the first
split section of the third task to link to the second split section of the
first task. Is there a way that "Project" can do this?

It would make better planning sense to have an activity for each task, link
them all up and then use the bar rollup facility in MSp to show them on the
same bar line. ie three tasks fully linked FS, then copy four times and add
the relevant links then use the rollup.

Hi Joe,

Andrew is 100% spot on correct. To directly answer your question,
no, you cannot link the split part of a task to another task.

I hope this helps. Let us know how you get along.
