I have a the database backend on a shared drive and the
front end program on two computers with them both linked
to the database on the shared drive. This works on one
computer just fine (the one that holds the shared
drive). On this computer I can update the front end
program and repair and compact the database back end and
everything works fine. However, when I do anything to
the backend or change the front end program on the second
computer she can no longer access the back end data. I
get an error saying she needs to be given permission to
get to the data. The first time this happened I set up
security on the data base to give her permission, but now
it has happened again and I don't want to have to do this
everytime I change the backend data. I am using access
