Linking tasks into master project

I know how to create a master project with sub projects
linked. However, I'm not sure how to have a master
project and only link level 1 and 2 tasks. Can someone
walk me through it? Thanks.

It's really all or nothing. When you insert the subproject, the entire
project is linked. Can avoid looking at tasks level 3 and below by
simply not opening that level of the hierarchy.

Hello Robin,
I'm not sure about what you want, but have you tried the "Indent" button in
the tool bar (Green rightward arrow)

Thanks, I knew that I could hide and/or indent tasks. I
thought perhaps I could just set up a link for specific
tasks from a sub project. Thanks!

Hi Robin,

If you expand the sub-project files within the master, you can link tasks in
the normal way: eg select the 2 tasks an click the Link tool.
