I am creating a long document in Word 2008 which contains several text boxes linked together to "flow" a "story". After linking about 4 text boxes together, I tried to click the square at the bottom right of the last text box in order to create a new, linked text box. When I clicked it, it crashed Word. Opening the file and proceeding the same way has yielded the same results, every time, for about 5 tries in a row.
Any suggestions on how to rescue my current document, and on how to avoid the problem in the future, would be appreciated.
