linking Text Fields in A visio File

I would like to be able to link text fields in a visio fill manly for
multi-page drawings that have a revisions block. I would like to have one
maaster text block (on page 1) and the rest of my revision text blocks update
off the one master block does any one know how o do this????

I'd probably start with the help file and search on "insert text field",
you're going to put a custom property into it that will refer back to the
shape that you want to keep the text in sync with.

You could also consider putting your revisions block on its own page
and using this as a background to your other pages.

ALternatively, I would store the revision information in the document
shape sheet. You could then have a revisions shape that can use this
and be placed on each page.
