Linking to a new document based on a template

I have made a simple network html page with a checklist on how to write
protocols. I have placed a shortcut to the page on each of my colleagues
desktops. On the page I would lika to place a link that opens a new document
based on a specifik template. We share the same templates on the network. How
do I write the html link on the page?
We all have Office 2007 and share the templates on Q:\Office\templates
