Linking to an access database

I am trying to open an access database via a link on our
intranet site. When I click on the link, it asks me if I
want to open, save or cancel. If I click open, it
downloads the access file and then just stops. I can't
get access to open or anything. It just stops. I can do
this with any other database, except this one. It is
written in Access 2000. If anyone has any ideas, I am
wide open for suggestions. Thanks RAY

just a guess but have you looked at the extention of the access file to make sure the computer your on is reading the file correctly.
