Well where to begin. I am trying to link a Excel
Spreadsheet, that has vlook up formula in it. The excel
spreadsheet is updated through another source. Anyway, I
have created a data base. I linked the excel spread sheet
to the data base. I created a table, query and a form. Now
I want to be able create the Access data base and inout
data so that it will not only reflect on the Access table,
but also reflect on the Excel spreadsheet that I am linked
to. The problem comes when I try to look at the table in
Access and Excel. Excel gives me an error, then shuts down
completely, Access also gives me an error. So I created a
dummy spreadsheet with no formulas and a dummy data base,
and it worked fine. IS there a way I can somehow link the
Spreadsheet that is being updated live, but also input
information in the access data base so that it will refect
the update. I saw transferspread sheet, but I am unsure
how to do that process. I get an error when I do that,
that the excel spreadsheet can't be found. I know this
long, and possibly confusing...any help is welcome..thanks
