Linking to data in Visio 2007

Bill

I have a network diagram showing desktops and servers. For each system, I
have a detailed PDF file (several pages) describing the equipment, software,
license codes, etc). Any ideas on how I can link the Visio graphic for each
desktop to its respective PDF file?

I guess the first question might be what was the source of the pdf file
(i.e. a word doc). I know that the hyperlink function can point at a
specific word file and bookmark within it (for more granularity). I have not
attempted to point a hyperlink at a pdf file. With that as preface you might
check out applying hyperlinks to your shapes.

Thanks for the reply Al.
The source is a program the queries each PC on the network and prints out
several shts of HTML describing that PC (ie software installed, license
codes, etc.). I then save the HTML as a PDF.
