Linking to DB

Im trying to see if it is possible to link either a acess table or excel
table to a web page and make it so that if i were to make changes to the
table, it would save the changes.
The table is nothing more that a list of names running vertically and events
running horizontal. i would like anyone tohave access to fill it if they
were present at the event by wither a checkbox or just yes/no.

Sorry if im not being clear. let me know if i can answer any questions about
what im trying to get done. thanks in advace for help.

Seems like you have it backward. The only way that would work is if the web
page itself had a back end database, in which case exactly what's your
purpose for having the two databases...?

Im part of a communty service organization. Normally we have a notebook we
carry to event to have people log in whether they were present and how many
hours they were there. At the end of the year we go back and make a big
excel table from thenotebook. I was hoping i could make a way that people
couls see the excel or access table and fill in thier own hours online. This
way it is more convinient and saves the trouble of having to make the table
at the end of the year.
