linking to excel

P

Paz

When I copy and past a cell from excel and I choose from
the pasting options the "Keep source formating and Link to
excel" word creates a new line and on it it places the
cell. How can I put the cell within the text. For
example :

The current balance of $50 is due....

While the $50 is the value of a cell in excel that I would
like to keep linked so that the document keeps accurate
with the excel sheet.

I would greatly appreciate a reply to my email addresss.

Thanx
Paz

Hi Paz,

If there's a "Keep text only" + link option, use that.
Otherwise: Edit/Paste Special, activate Link and choose
"Plain text" as the format.
