Linking to other websites

I am trying to insert link in my site from another websites but frontpage
does not accept the full link can you please help. Or how can I insert link
in my web page?

Ike -

Type whatever word or phrases you want to identify the other site.
High-light the words/phrases. Right click. Type in the new site address at
the bottom of the popup window.

In addition to Richard's comment, note that FrontPage limits a link to
about 250 characters, this includes protocol (http://), domain, path, page
name and querystring.
