Linking to XML File

I'm a newbie to InfoPath, so I apologize if I'm missing something obvious.

I created a form to input general client information. I open that form,
enter data, and save it as Client.xml.

I then created a second form, Questionnaire.xsn. I would like the data I
entered in Client.xml to propagate the matching fields in Questionnaire.xsn.
How do I do this?

A second, broader, question is whether there will then be a way I can pull
the data from Client.xml (such as a client's name and address) into a Word
file, and if so, how?

Will you create the client.xml only once or you want the data from the
client.xml to be dynamically populated into the second form whenever first
form is filled out?

Both. Client.xml will be created only once--one file for each client when
they first contact my office. Then, as the matter progresses, the data from
client.xml will be pulled into various other documents and added to.
