I use the accounting system ACCPAC, which stores it's data
in FoxPro(6) databases. Can anyone tell me in laymen's
terms, (sorry, not a developer here) how I can link the
FoxPro databases to a Microsoft Access 2000 database?
Here is what I have already tried:
Went to the ODBC DataSource Administrator
Added the Microsoft Visual FoxPro Driver (*.dbf)
Chose the Free Table directory
Set the path to where the foxpro dbf files are located
It added it fine.
Then went to access, chose link data, chose odbc data
Chose the data source name that I used, then a completely
EMPTY Link Tables window opens....no tables to choose
from.
What I am doing wrong??
Thanks in advance!!
