linking webparts

Is it possible to link webparts that are on the same pages (customized web
Part page). So when I click on a project in the project center (webpart 1) I
would like the project detail to display in the second web part. Both these
web parts are on the same page.

Hi Jazzysmyles,

The short answer is no, not because web parts cant communicate with
eachother ( they actually can), but becuase the Proejct Server web parts
Project Cetner and Project Details are essentially Active X components that
do now have this functionality. Since it is ActiveX you cannot custom develop
within these web parts. Should you need to have this kind of functionality,
the only way is to develop your own web parts. Then you can create the link
you where asking for.
