I've got a RANGE in my sheet called "Customer invoice no." the first cell has
the YYMMDD the second cell has HHMMSS. (The invoice no. is YYMMDDHHMMSS)
Anyway it links to a database spreadsheet. Now it says that it can only link
a RANGE of cells - which is why I've made mine over two cells (When i named
just one cell access wouldn't allow me to import that one value) Thing is
that when its on my access field i need it to be one filed...and not two. So
is there a way to get access to combine the two valuse into one field? (The
field on access would be called Invoice Number) - Alternativeley a way to get
it to link to just one cell in the spreadsheet. Finally a general question -
in a set up like this...since its a date which is taken from the system
time...would it update every minute or second in access? If so...then is
there a way to stop that? short of not using the system date and time?
Erm...if i've gone on some weird tangent or I'm approaching this in
completely the wrong way then tell me...and I'll try to figure it out.
