Linking Word and Excel

Brady Finney

I have a complex Excel model that I'm trying to link to a report in Word.
There are about 50 Excel cells that appear a numerous times each in the Word
report. I've tried linking word and excel using hyperlinks and pasting as a
link, but the updating doesn't work very well. I'm open to any suggestions
you may have.

Hi Brady,

Hyperlinks can't work; a hyperlink only takes you to the referenced file, it
doesn't show any data.

Copy in Excel, paste with a link in Word is pretty much your only choice.
Please explain HOW it doesn't work (we can't do much more than sympathize if
you don't give us any information). And tell us the VERSION of Office
involved.
