Linking Word Documents

Nathan

Hi

I have a form on which I need a range of buttons that when clicked opens up
an external document in MS Word, Excel and a button that opens up a folder
containing several files.
Is this possible and if so how?

I noticed through the wizard you can set a button to open up applications
but I dont know how to open a certain document within an application.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Many Thanks

Hi Nathan,

1. Click the wizard, pleace the button on the form where you want it(keeping
in my the form should be opend already in design view), then click cancel on
the wizard.

2. Open the properties of the button and place your cursor in the "Hyperlink
Address" field and click on the three dots (...)

3. Enter the path to the document or folder you want to open with the button
and when finished click "OK"

4. You will see an underline on the button to show it is hyperlinked.
However, if this bothers you as it does me, then go to "Font Underline" and
change it to "No"

This should do the trick!
