Links are on remote web site but not local

I used FP to create and publish my new web site last night, today, on my
computer web files, the site links are gone. On the remote site they are
there. I like to work on files on my compter then upload. Why did they go
away?? Plse help

Did you actually create a web/site or just single pages? You need to create
a new web first, then the pages, then the links between pages & whatever.
