Links don't work in Outlook 2002

When I click links in received emails I get a dialog box telling me to see
the system administrator. When in Newsgroups when I click the links nothing
happens. IE works fine, this is only occuring in Office and Office won't
bring up IE when I click on a link.

I believe that's the new Outlook security settings preventing you from
clicking on the links or receive HTML messages. However, you should post in
one of the Office newsgroups to confirm it. This newsgroup supports
OneNote, and not Outlook or Office programs.

I found the answer in a earlier post. In IE under "tools", "internet
options", "programs" I didn't have the box "Check to see if IE is the default
browser" checked. I checked it and now all my links in Outlook work.
