Hi JE McGimpsey,
Thankfully with your help and your Macro, I have managed in relatively short
time to link a long list of items in an Excel spreadsheet to an external
source (CD-RW) that contains folders with pictures within, specific to
illustrate each item. I plan to mail the Excel spreadsheet (via e-mail)
and a (if necessary a physical) copy of the CD to my ³Clients¹ for their
perusal.
Can you give me a hint/tip what precautions and instructions I must convey
to them that the links in the spreadsheet will properly recognize and read
the CD (hopefully without a hitch) on their computer? It is likely that
they have an older version of Excel and some of them may still suffer with
Windows PC.
If the proper procedure for this is written down in some publication or
preferably in an article, I might be able to start from there.
Again, thank you for your help so far, making the work easy to the point
that I enjoyed the linking process because of its efficiency.
Your response is very much appreciated.
