Links in Help windows don't work

H

hmm

I recently reinstalled Office 2000.

Now, when I press a blue-colored hyperlink, there is no response at all.

In an Overviw icon ("To display this topic, click the graphic."), I get the
error message "Object doesn't support this property or method:
'xlhhctrl_1.HHClick' ", asking me "Do you want to continue running scripts on
this page."

How do I solve this problem, to make such links work properly, like they did
before I reinstalled?

MS disabled the links in Office 2000 help files with a security update to prevent possible problems.

You can revert to the prior behavior, at your risk, by replacing the file mentioned here with the original one from the CD.
