I used the link function in Outlook 2003 extensively, especially for creating
bidirectional links between contacts and contacts, and between tasks and
contacts. It's great when you meet a new contact but can't remember their
name as you can just bring up the person who introduced you and get it there.
Similarly, if you have a task and are dealing with contacts, just link the
task to the contact(s) and you have them at your fingertips. Great functin.
All I have been able to find on Microsoft website is a vague reference to the
function being removed. I can't understand why they would remove such a basic
and functional part of Outlook. I'm not trying to complain here, just to
understand. There must be another way to handle this in 2007. Anyone see what
I'm missing?
