Links Messed Up When Posting to Groups

When I post to a message group my links (URL's and e-mail addresses)
are changed by either Outlook or the group. Here is how I have written
the message:

Steve Lockridge
(e-mail address removed)
CLIENT SPOTLIGHT - The airing of ABC's two-hour "Nick Family" special
Extreme Makeover: Home Edition has been scheduled for this Sunday,
August 14. The newly redesigned Morgan Nick Foundation web site
(www.morgannick.com) will also be revealed this weekend.
Congratulations Colleen, Logan and Taryn!

Here is how it appears to the group:

Does anyone know what is causing the word "HYPERLINK" to be added and
the underlying HTML code for those links?
