I recently loaded Firefox and use it as my browser. I use OE6 as my mail
program.
However, whenever I now save a message in the OE "Drafts" folder that
contains a link, when I copy and send that message to someone, the link won't
work. On my end, when I test email to myself and I click the link, IE7 opens
on my end and gives the error "Address not Valid" .
The display reads: res://ieframe.dll/syntax.htm#
This happens with any link I try.
When I copy and paste the link, however, the page loads fine.
This only just started happening, I'm guessing since I started using
Firefox. . When other people email me a link, the
page opens fine from OE (in Firefox as this is now my browser of choice.) I
don't want to return to IE as it bogs my system down (I'm using Windows XP).
How can I continue to save drafts in my OE6 Drafts folder and copy them to
send without recipients not being able to open the link contained in the
email?
Thanks.
