Links on Milestones

Eán

Although I want my task bars to show the links, I don't want to show the
links on my milestones - is there a way I can do this?
Thanks

Hi Eán,

Welcome to this Microsoft Project newsgroup :)

Not possible, but if you filter for just milestones that might suffice.
Better to create a copy of the milestones filter, and edit it to not show
summaries.

FAQs, companion products and other useful Project information can be seen at
this web address: http://project.mvps.org/faqs.htm

Hope this helps - please let us know how you get on :)

If he knew the dates for his milestones he could set a constraint on them
and not link them to the rest of the project. Not quite a customary method,
but it should work.

Hi Steve,

Yes - but the problem with that is if the tasks driving the milestone
change, the constrained milestone won't move and will thus not show reality.
This is the problem with using any of the constraints on offer. Best to
make them all As Soon As Possible to get maximum flexibility out of
scheduelling.
