Links question

N

Nick Ravo

How do I get my links, so that when I see them there is no underline, just
the color blue? Right now I have blue with an underline.

1. Choose Style from the Format menu.
2. In the Styles list, select a.
3. Click Modify, then Format, then Font.
4. Select the No Text decoration check box.
5. Click OK, OK, and OK.

Even easier method: With FP2002 just highlight the link (with or
without some text adjacent to it), and click the "underline" button (or
CTRL-U) to turn the underline on or off, FP will remove the underline
from the link as well as the text (i.e. it adds or removes the "text
decoration" parameter to the <a href=...> tag.)

Here's an example of what the HTML looks like:
Original text:
<p>test <a href="http://usscouts.org/">click here</a></p>
after highlighting the entire line and clicking the underline button or
CTRL-U once:
<p><u>test </u><a href="http://usscouts.org/">click here</a></p>
after clicking the underline button or CTRL-U again:

<p>test <a href="http://usscouts.org/" style="text-decoration:
none">click here</a></p>
