Links sent with my received emails have been disabled

Since downloading some updates I appear to have gained a level of security
which I dont want. When I receive an email with a link to shoot off to
another internet site I am blocked from doing so. I have to select "other
actions" from the top menu bar, select "View in browser", then wait for that
page to load up and then click the link. It makes the whole process tedius
and frustrating.........
