We have an intranet site with links to Outlook public folders. When the
links are clicked, the appropriate public folder opens in a new Outlook
window. We recently had some test users begin using Outlook 2007. For this
handful of users, when the links are clicked, Outlook does not launch. So
the web browser tries to access via itself, resulting in a page not found
error. I understand there are some public folder link limitations associated
with Outlook 2007 due to enhanced security (.xnk links do not work), but we
were able to get around that by using hyperlinks instead
(Outlook://path/...). But it's not working when the hyperlinks are located
on a web site. Any ideas?
