Links to custom shows don't work when ppt is saved as web page

Hi -

I am experimenting with using powerpoint interactivity for elearning, and am
having trouble with getting hyperlinks that link to Custom Shows to work
when saving to the web. They don't seem to work on the PC OR the mac. Links
to normal webpages or to specific slides work fine. Anyone have any idea
why? They don't go anywhere.

A typical script shown by the status bar when hovering over the link would
be:

Javascript.parent.ViewCustomShow(1,0)
