Links to pdfs on CD

I need to create a CD that contains a couple of presentations, one made in
Director, the other in PowerPoint. In Director, I can get links to pdf files
to run from the Acrobat Reader contained on the CD, but how do I get
PowerPoint to do the same thing? I keep getting an error that the path can't
be found (to Reader).

Any help would be appreciated.

Kim,

Have a look at www.echosvoice.com for information on how you get the
powerpoint viewer installed on the CD (so it can run from the CD without
installing any software on the host PC)

Then try calling up the viewer and the pres from director

something along the lines of

ppview32.exe "mypres.ppt"

You need to put all of the Reader files on the CD and use Action Settings >
Run to launch it. I recommend that you use launch.exe. See
