links within a page

If a web page is pasted into ON and it has links on the page linking to
another part of that page - there is a problem. Clicking on the link
instead of moving to that part of the page it loads the page into a
browser. So

1 - is there any way of getting the link to work properly, or

2- how can the link (behind some text) be removed

No. OneNote does not accept linking to a page or location on a page. You
can create standard file links to an entire section though. Search back
for my name and the work 'link' for more info) If you jump to that
section OneNote will open to the most recently used page for that
section. I find this is enough to get me pretty close to where I want to
be. Do I wish there were better linking? Yes! But it's all we got for
now.
2- how can the link (behind some text) be removed

Select the text, cut it out, paste it back in, select the Keep Text Only
paste option.
