List box with a query

On my form, the user can run a parameter query where the
user is prompted for a name before all the information
about that name appears from the query (eg address, full
name etc)

My question is, is it possible for the user to select the
name from a list box when the prompt appears, asking for a
name? That way, instead of the user typing in a name, he
can simply highlight one from the list box

Not automatically. Create your own data selection form, and use it to fire
off the query.
