I am trying to add lines to a list I made in the previous version of Excel with Tiger operating system. I have added lines at the end of the list but when I go to sort the whole list, I get this message:
"The selected cells on the worksheet are conflicting with the List Manager. If you are selecting cells and the selected range overlaps the List Manager, either select a non-overlapping range or move the LM out of the way. . . . "
I tried the List Wizard which did not function correctly when I tried to use it. There is no visible List Manager to move out of the way. When I try to extend the line around the old list to include the new list below it asks if I want to copy and replace my new material. If I try to copy just the old section of the list to a new worksheet, when I try paste special to get the column widths the same as in the old list, I get the same error message as I quoted above.
What is going on? How can I get this list to sort?
