Does Word have or is there a plug in tool for making
Revision number, date page etc on each new revised page
and then generating a list?????

You can do this in FrameMaker and some other Desktop Pub
programs. Is there anything in WORD???????
Thanks

it can be very frustrating if you work with Word in a page-based manner
IMHO. There ain't such a thing as a "page" in a DOC-file (they are
created but at "run-time" by taking into account the systems current
printer driver settings, for instance).

Having said that, you can of course work with page breaks at the end of
each page. Then you alone control what's on top of each page, say, a
borderless table containing all the info you may want to put in there.
Properly styled, you can then bring the stuff together in a TOC, for
instance.

Word's no DTP application ...
