List of Hotfixes

Alex

Can anyone tell me if there is a list of hotfixes and updates available for Project 2002 and 2003? A definative list with brief details of fix and date released would be great, I know I can search the knowledge base and users generally have to contact Microsoft to obtain them anyway but even so it could save a lot of time if issues could quickly be matched up to a hotfix, and with there being so many on 2002 and 2003(already) it is hard to keep track

Thank

Alex:

The definitive list is contained in the knowledge base. Go to
http://support.microsoft.com and use the search feature using a strings
like: "project server 2003 hotfix" and "project 2003 hotfix" Unfortunately,
there's no search string that returns the entire list for either version,
both client and server in the same result set. Search is not the strongest
characteristic of the Microsoft web site. You can also use Google to search
Microsoft, which often yeilds better, more cogent results.

All of the hotfixes are cumulative, so you can determine which package has
the latest fixex by looking at the date. Understand that hotfixes are not
fully regression tested, so you may get more than you bargained for. If
you're using 2002, you should first apply SP1 and then decide if the couple
of post SP1 hotfixes that have been released apply to you or not.
