List of markup prints with the document

When a document with Tracking turned on is printed, it prints the document
AND the list of Markup (Reviewing Pane). In the Print dialog box, under
Print what: Document is selected when printing (List of Markup is not
selected when printing). Why is this list printing anyway along with the
document?
