Can someone explain to me the behaviour of Risks and Issue

When a PL try to raise a Risk/Issue the "Assigned to" and "Owner" lis
shows only the team members of this project and his immediat
executives (RBS level)

Actually the PL want to show the full list of executives here. This i
applicable for all projects. So how can I add all executives on globa
level

I maintain a category called DepartmentExecutives and they can vie
all the plans and resources regardless of their RBS

thanks in advanc

You could add those executives to the project team for each existing project,
and also add them to the team on your enterprise templates, so that future
projects created with the templates would include those executives on the
team.

Rayis,

Add all the executives that you want to show up on all your sites to a
particular group. It can be an existing one like Executives or you can
create a new one. Then associate this group to your DepartmentExecutive
category. On their group to category permissions section makes sure the
"View Risks, Issues, and Documents" permission.

Test to see that this works by going to Admin>Manage Windows Sharepoint
Services>Manage SharePoint Sites, highlight a workspace and hit the
Synchronize button. This will give add all the Windows User Account users
that are in this new group of yours as "Readers" on the workspace and will
add them as selectable users in the "Assign To" and "Owner" dropdown lists
for Issues and Risks.

If it works, you will have to run the synchronize on all your project web
sites. If you have a million project web sites, you could write an asp page
that can do the synchs for you automatically.
